FOUR STEPS TO GOD
1. God Loves You!

The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish (die), but have eternal life." John 3:16

The problem is that....

2. All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.

The Bible says, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God FOREVER! The Bible says, "the wages (payment) of sin is death." Romans 3:23; 6:23

The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago....

3. God sent His only son, Jesus Christ, to the earth to die for our sins.

Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. "God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God, His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living with Him in the Kingdom here on earth when He returns -- if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 4:6

God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." John 1:12

"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame." Romans 10:9-11

You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come into your life as your Lord and Savior.

4. If you want to accept Christ, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a sincere prayer like this:

"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask You to come into my life and heart and be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve You always. In Your name I pray, Amen."

You may pray this prayer at any time, anywhere, and know that He hears you and will gladly come into your heart and life. Afterwards, tell others what you have done, and share with them about God's love for them too!

Should you decide to accept Jesus into your heart, please be sure to contact us or the pastor. We would love to provide you with other materials or answers to any questions you may have. Visit our church or a local church near you! Once you have accepted Christ, you need to be baptized. Please visit the page "Christian Baptism" on our homepage!

~~~~VERSE OF THE DAY~~~~ ********************************** THE WORDS OF CHRIST SPOKEN TO NICODEMUS IN John 3:13-21.... "No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God." ********************************** JESUS IS OUR ULTIMATE EXAMPLE... working not for selfish gain, but for heaven's glory; putting not one's own desires first, but the needs of others; profiting not from money, but from God's blessing. "The Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." Matthew 20:28 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Jesus said to him, "I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE; no one comes to the FATHER except through ME". John 14:6
